Congratulations to the OASI on 50 years of astronomy at the Nacton Observatory. The Conference at the University of Suffolk yesterday celebrating this golden milestone was a big success. For information on GeoSuffolk's Planet Earth stand:
GeoSuffolk member Howard Mottram has a piece of oceanic crust (basalt) in his hand - part of the From Within section of our display. Other areas covered were - Water, Atmosphere, Life, Moon and Earth Strike, all using geological specimens to portray fundamental information about our planet.
